The Story

Zay built A Day With Zay around a simple question: how would you like to spend a day with Zay? It is a choreographer's brand, an entertainer's stage, and a creative's open door. Every class, every event, every partnership carries that same invitation.

Where most heels programs lead with drilling, Zay leads with confidence. His students start in the corner and end up on the floor, hair flipping, throwing the thing. That is not by accident. That is the design. Confidence comes first. Finding the fun in the foundation.

He runs Zay's BAEs, the training company he founded and grew through every cohort that fills of Back to BAEsics. He teaches Back to BAEsics for beginners, the ZB Performance Training Co. for industry-track artists, and brings Brides BAEs into bachelorettes, weddings, and corporate teams. He hosts. He performs. He partners with brands that fit.

That journey has carried him from local Seattle studios to international stages. He has worked alongside choreographers like Tina Landon, Tanisha Scott, Kevin Maher, and Rich and Tone, and performed with artists including Rihanna, Chris Brown, and Justin Bieber. His teaching has taken him from the U.S. to Asia. Heels, hip-hop, jazz funk, stage performance, hosting. Wherever the work takes him, it becomes A Day With Zay.

Two values run through everything: an attitude of gratitude, and the rule that you always leave your heart in your art. The next chapter is bigger. More cities, online access, and a brand that scales without losing the warmth that built it.
